Casemiro Poised to Depart Manchester United for Saudi Pro League in January

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is reportedly preparing to leave Old Trafford during the upcoming January transfer window, with a move to the Saudi Pro League on the horizon.

The Brazilian international, who joined United from Real Madrid in August 2022 for a fee of £60 million, has experienced a decline in form and playing time under new manager Ruben Amorim. This situation has prompted interest from several Saudi clubs, including Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, and Al-Hilal, all keen to bolster their squads with experienced talent.

Casemiro's potential move aligns with Manchester United's strategy to rejuvenate their midfield and reduce the wage bill. The club is reportedly open to offers in the region of £25-£30 million for the 32-year-old midfielder.

A reunion with former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr is among the possibilities, given their successful history at Real Madrid. However, Saudi clubs must navigate player registration constraints to finalize any deal.

As the January transfer window approaches, both Manchester United and Casemiro are expected to make definitive decisions regarding his future, with Saudi clubs poised to make compelling offers.
