Announced by French President Emmanuel Macron, the renovation aims to modernize and expand the museum's facilities. A significant highlight is the construction of a new entrance along the Seine River, projected to be completed by 2031. The decision to allocate a separate room for the "Mona Lisa" comes in response to challenges posed by its immense popularity.
