Beyoncé Wins Big at the 2025 Grammy Awards – Full List of Winners

At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards held on February 2, 2025, at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena, Beyoncé's genre-blending album Cowboy Carter emerged as the night's standout, earning her the coveted Album of the Year award. This marks Beyoncé's first win in this category, further solidifying her status as the most decorated artist in Grammy history.

Cowboy Carter not only clinched Album of the Year but also secured the Best Country Album award, making Beyoncé the first Black woman in 50 years to win a country Grammy. Her collaboration with Miley Cyrus on "II Most Wanted" earned them the Best Country Duo/Group Performance, highlighting Beyoncé's successful foray into country music.

In her acceptance speech, Beyoncé expressed gratitude to her family, collaborators, and fans, emphasizing the importance of passion and persistence in the face of genre limitations. She also highlighted the contributions of Black and LGBTQ+ artists to country music, underscoring the genre's diverse roots.

The evening also celebrated other notable artists:

  • Kendrick Lamar: Won both Record and Song of the Year for his track "Not Like Us," a song that has been praised for reigniting hip-hop's competitive spirit.

  • Sabrina Carpenter: Secured the Best Pop Vocal Album award for Short 'n Sweet, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career.

  • Chappell Roan: Named Best New Artist, acknowledging her standout album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess and her critiques of the music industry's treatment of young stars.

The ceremony, hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive year, featured memorable performances and heartfelt tributes, including a homage to the late Quincy Jones by Will Smith, Herbie Hancock, and Stevie Wonder.

The 2025 Grammy Awards not only honored musical excellence but also highlighted the evolving landscape of the industry, celebrating both established icons and emerging talents.
