Yreka, CA – Tom Welling, the 47-year-old actor renowned for portraying Clark Kent in the television series "Smallville," was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence. The incident occurred in an Arby's parking lot in Yreka, California, a city near the Oregon border.
Authorities reported that Welling's blood alcohol content was at or above the legal limit of 0.08%. He was taken into custody by the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office around 2 a.m. and released approximately five hours later.
This arrest came a day after Welling celebrated his wife Jessica's birthday. The couple, married since November 2019, resides on a ranch in Northern California with their two sons, Thomson Wylde, 6, and Rocklin Von, 3.
